I'm a winner twice......again!

I'm happy to say I recently won two competition's run by two very fine gentleman bloggers.
The first was from Iain at Flags of War, thanks to his daughter who pulled my name out of the hat, I'm the happy owner of a Front Rank Napoleonic ensign of the 27th Inniskilling Foot. This fine looking figure will be winging its way to my Dad's for a belated birthday pressie.
Thanks Iain

The second win was from another Ian, but this one comes from The Colour of War blog, Ian ran a competition to celebrate his blog reaching 100 posts, very well done Sir!!! Unfortunately, (or fortunately for me) only 5 people entered and on a roll of a 4, I won!! The figure will now join the ranks of my other Vikings, which will one day make an appearance on my blog......I promise?
Ian  posted twice on how he painted up the Viking below, here and here. I picked up some great tips in there. Thanks Ian!

So I'd like to say a big thank you to both of you, and to you the wargame bloggers out there go join their sites, it could be you next time!!!!

  10. Well done Ray - nice going. It's a bit of a shame to describe Iain No.1 as Flames of War - just a typo, obviously, but it could cost him millions of hits - could destroy him. It should, of course, read Flakes of War - no, sorry - Floogs of Wart - oh, blast - Farts of Slag. That's it.
