We have a winner!!!!
Monty from Twin Cities Gamer!!!!
No 97 was randomly selected out of 187 entries.

God knows what she had in store for me if she won??

So congrats to Monty and thanks to everyone who entered and who visits my blog!

  3. Congrats Monty. You lucky so and so. If you do not know what you want Ray to paint for you, he loves painting anything science fiction/fantasy. The more esoteric the better!

  4. I think I had a similar number of entries to Anne and had pledged to pass my win to her if I won - just to see what she had planned for you to paint.

Congrats Monty - make sure it is 28mm and fantasy that you get him to apint for you! :)

  11. Wow! And a HUGE LOL see my mug posted here! I should mention that my kids both hate the avatar that comes from so I'll make sure they see I'm still making the rounds.

Quick story about my lucky streak. 2 days ago, my car bombed out and I took it to the shop. The car has 149K miles on it and I was certain the fuel pump had failed. It was going to cost a bundle. Yesterday, the shop tells me a mouse had set up in the air intake and cut off the flow of air with bird seed and dog food. It only cost me $90 to get my car running and I considered myself very lucky. Today, I'm twice lucky! THANKS Ray! 4 Leaf Monty

  12. Congratulations to Monty! And I already had picked out what I was going to have you paint. It was just two 1/48 scale mini's from the Seven Year War. Sculpted by Tom Meier (my hero). Here's the links to the figs.

    Eastern Woodland Indian

    American Frontiersman

I already have them. Now somebody is going to have to tell me what colour paints to buy to get the skin tone right on that Indian.

    3. They are gorgeous figures. I thought they would make nice showpieces for Battleaxe. Also it would be a good way of thanking Ray for being such a good sport for so long.

I had one other in mind and it's gorgeous.

I only bought the mounted figure. But this would look good on a Battleaxe header I thought.

    4. This is a wonderful idea, Anne! Ray, would you do me the honor of transferring my prize to Anne and her spectacular SYW figures? They'd be a treat to see painted. Basking in the afterglow of my good fortune this week and kindness of my fellow bloggers, I'd like to pay it forward. Plus, I never could say no to an Irish woman. Don't tell my wife that last bit!
