Rejects on Tour - Skirmish April 2016

Only 2 Rejects made the long drive up the A2, to visit the April show at Skirmish, I bought various bits and bobs but I tried not to spend too much, I was hoping to save my pennies for Salute.

Skirmish is now under new management, its now being run by Craig at Redcoat Models, who like most of the traders at the show, sell models rather than wargames figures. But you can always pick up a bargain or two at little local shows like this one, so its well worth a visit!
It sounds like Craig the owner has got big plans for Skirmish, so watch this space!! Here's a link to the Skirmish website.

The next Skirmish show is set for September 18th, this year....I'm trying to get Postie to put on a game there, you never know???

Below are a few pics form the show....

Skirmish Wargaming - WWI Trench Raid

Tonbridge Wargames  Club - Austo-Prussian War 1866

Rainham Wargames Club - ACW Naval

There we bumped into fellow Reject Clint & chums!
Clint wasn't happy......as you can plainly see!

Two Fantasy games from Gravesend Gamers Guild

Necron v Space Marines
(Cheers Clint, I didn't have a clue!)

A packed battlefield!

Old Guard Wargames Club - Napoleonic

Medway Wargames Society - Dust Tactics 1947

Not sure what they are...but they're very impressive looking!!!

Crush the Kaiser - Viking Skirmish

A random shot, in the main hall

Herne Bay Wargames Club - Lion Rampant

Milton Hundred Wargames Club - Full Thrust

Painters plying their wares

Bexley Reapers - Mad Max

Beautiful Military artwork by Ray Kirkpatrick

And finally Postie having a chat and parting with a huge wad of cash with Col Bill

  1. Some nice looking games on show there. Like Postie's trench system...is there any terrain he hasn't got?

  3. Some cool figures.
How long does it take to set up a board like that first one? It's really elaborate.

  4. Pity I missed the show but I'll be at Salute on the 16th......and when isn't Poistie parting with large amounts of cash at Col Bills?!? So long as we benefit from Stuarts inexhaustible resources far be it for us to complain.

  6. Nice looking games :)

Probably wise to save the pennies for Salute - the Essex lads are counting on you to cover the cost of their stall ;)

  11. Now that guy in the Rainham club looks very handsome I think there should be more pictures of him, very distinguished! Very talented and extremely trustworthy, you can just tell by his face and demeanour.

Good to see you there mate.

    1. It was the best looking game that's for sure. Apparently according to Clint, the chap who made it works in the design dept at the BBC???
