Not that you need any abandoned wagons to play, the scenarios in 1812 The Retreat from Moscow rules, I thought It'd be rude not to add some to my small collection of 10mm figures. I may yet go back and convert one wagon into a sledge, which you might need in the game......if you're lucky that is?
The wagons once again like the rest of my 10mm collection come from Pendraken Miniatures.

They definitely look a little rough. Well painted and put together though!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex!
DeleteNo horses though... those Frenchies need to ask for their money back.
ReplyDeleteThe horses are in their bellies!!
Delete“Retreat from Moscow” in TWO scales? Madness.
ReplyDeleteThe French were 28mm on their way into Russia and only 10mm on their way out 😂
DeleteThat's just about right Ben, and yes Jon.....complete MADNESS!
DeleteVery nice work Ray.
ReplyDeleteCheers Ben.
DeleteNicely done and a good idea to go with the rounded bases.
ReplyDeleteI think so, I wanted them to have a low profile, the 10mm figures are on washers, so I used card for these wagons.
DeleteHi Ray,
ReplyDeleteSuperb work! They look wonderfully derelict and really add to the grim atmosphere of the 1812 boards. Mind you, as Dai pointed out, the lack of horses suggests the poor beasts have probably already ended up in the cooking pot!
Cheers, Andy
Indeed, I think the French would have and did eat anything they could get there hands on!
DeleteFabulous additions to the collection Ray.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sir M!
