But since you're using seperate gun models then, just move that piece back and forth. Bottom line whatever works for you. I personnaly don't like turning the artillery stand backwards to represent it being limbered. I go the extra effort to make a seperate base for the gun and then move it to the limber when it moves.Greghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03494218705580247247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6486757399063403760.post-29018857483648180012012-03-03T09:49:43.979+00:002012-03-03T09:49:43.979+00:00There nice Ray, job well doneThere nice Ray, job well doneThe Extraordinariihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17677851630585684035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6486757399063403760.post-58275941615822906392012-03-03T09:27:20.133+00:002012-03-03T09:27:20.133+00:00I using my own set of semi-skirmish rules that are...I using my own set of semi-skirmish rules that are a mish mash of several sets of rules with a few ideas of my own. I was going to use that idea for the limbers, but I needed a base for the pieces to sit on to give an arc of fire, as its 15mm I thought that would be the easiest way??Ray Rousellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07352596392520905197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6486757399063403760.post-11621988504707308962012-03-03T08:45:56.125+00:002012-03-03T08:45:56.125+00:00Fantastic Ray! Well I was convinced to this period in 25's and use the rule system, "This Very Ground".
What rules are you using? I have one recommendation I picked up years ago. When I base up my limbers for this period and any other period I learned to add an extra 1-3inches behind the limber, so when the gun limbers up you can actually place it on the base, thus making it look nice and easier to moved around the game table...food for thought. Take care.

GregGreghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03494218705580247247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6486757399063403760.post-336747075193450982012-03-03T01:18:00.031+00:002012-03-03T01:18:00.031+00:00Horses and guns.
