RP No 102 NYW - Danish regt Fynske

I painted this unit up 2 weeks ago and they make up the last of my Danes for the Boyne/Aughrim period, they join the Danish Guard and Prince George's regt to make up my Danish brigade. As per usual with this period and especially with the Danes there was a choice of uniform, either grey with green cuffs, green with white cuffs or blue/grey with green cuffs. I've chosen the blue/grey with green as its a bit different from any of the units I've previously painted whether its right or not I just don't know???
The regiment also known as Funen, fought at the Boyne under the Danish Brigade leader Ferdinand-Wilhelm, the Duke of Wuttemberg-Neustadt. At the Battle of Aughrim a year later they were commanded in the field by Hans Hartmann von Erffa. After the Irish campaign they and the rest of the Danes were transferred to Flanders to carry on the fight against the French.
You may notice that the Danes don't have any pike bases for this unit, infact none of the Danes do, as they quite early on in the period discontinued the use of the pike, this fact didn't go un-noticed and soon after the pike fell out of use in most armies.
The flags are once again from the excellent Flags of War and the bases are from Warbases.
