Salute 2015..........Blogger meet up...anyone???

Salute 2015 is only 21 days away as I type..........Yee-haw!!!

So who's going???

I'm planning another Blogger meet up at the Big Red Spot above.
The meet up will be for around one hour starting at 1pm.
So if you want to come and meet your fellow bloggers for a chat
in the flesh rather than online, you're most welcome!
Non bloggers are of course welcome as well!

Hopefully I'll see you there!!!

Last years Blogger meet up...
I think we need a name for a collection of Bloggers?
Any ideas??

    1. Blax - are you going armed? We need to decide who won Roy Williamson's shoout-out!

    4. Looking forward to it gents. The only thing I'll be armed with by 1pm though is an empty wallet Pendragon :-) No costume for me this time round Roy...

    1. Glad you'll be making again this year Tamsin. As per Fran, he's still not sure he'll be able to make it, I'll keep asking.....you never know???

    2. I hope Lurker makes it.

      Have fun to all.

  8. Enjoy the show. I shan't be there this year. Saving cash for House stuff.

    1. You'll be much missed Simon. I for one was hoping to shake the hand of the man who has single-handedly cost me so much money this year in new shiny minis. At least I won't now hear what you're currently painting and thus rush off to the nearest stall and buy some myself ;-)

      Delete
    2. Blax - you will still hear, or rather read, from his blog and suffer the same temptation to spend :)

      Delete
    3. Thanks Tamsin. But I've actually found your blog almost as bad as I have dug out my GZG Full Thrust minis on account of all the great stuff you were doing with them. Just need to find a window to get some paint on them :-)

    4. Sorry to hear that Simon, but sometimes you just have to save the pennies!!

  9. I'm intending to be there - so see you then!

  13. Too far away for me. I did look up train prices, out of curiosity, and wasn't too put off, but in the end I wont be going.
I expect lots of photo's of who's who (along with blog addresses, so I can find out where they are!) after the event, and I can't wait to see what these new buildings that 4Ground are going to be unveiling.
Best of luck to you all.

    1. Roy,

I'll be there camera in hand and I expect I'll be manning the Agincourt game for a while too.

I don't think I'll be taking any pics of the traders though! Too many great games to see!

      Darrell.

    2. You'll have to meet up with the SD forum members, too. Then you can feature in two sets of group photo's.

      Delete
    3. That's a shame Roy, I thought you were going to the show?

      Delete
    4. @Ray Rousell: No. I had a look at video of the place on Youtube and it just looks far too big for my nerves to take. Then there's navigating through London, so I don't think I'll ever get.
That said, Col. Bill told me to check out Antwerp if I could. He firmly recommended that show to me.

  14. Yes, I shall be there! Simon

  15. Looking forward to seeing all of your posts and pics from gala event. Hmmm, how about "Guild of Loyal & Obedient Bloggers" (or GLOB)?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Now I do like this for a name, "Guild of Loyal & Obedient Bloggers"!! Has a nice ring to it.

I think that we should take as big a group shot as possible and try to get it included in Bloggers Quaterly! Seriously, is would be no bad thing..

Now to the question of where we all meet up?

    Darrell.

    1. That's a great idea Darrell.
The meet up is at the big red spot on the map at 1pm.

  17. I will be there for my inaugural Bloggers Meet, as will the esteemed Mrs Pendragon. How does one identify everyone else? Do you wear Blog Badges or something?!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Get them to announce over the tannoy system ... "Could a Mr Ray Rousell please make his way over to the large haggle of people who are currently milling around the centre of the show, looking for a large red spot."

Or, post a photograph of yourself, or what you'll be wearing, on your blog in advance. The Steve Dean forum used to feature badges on it's members, when they met up at shows - but now so few attend, they just meet up at a chosen pub afterwards.

    2. I'll be wearing my Posties Rejects T-Shirt, hopefully so will the other Rejects?? I like the idea of the tannoy system announcement, but not sure if there is one at the venue???

  18. Well, I'll be around somewhere.

How about a Blag of Bloggers?

  20. My retinas have just recovered from last years Photo but I am still suffering the flash backs and nightmares. So I must be due another dose of madness.

God willing I will be there. You never know I may even be traveling up with you. So I'll make sure I have a good strong curry for breakfast that Saturday. Ahh Breakfast curry you just can't beat it!
