Rijks Museum Amsterdam

At the end of January, we had a long weekend trip to Amsterdam. The last time I visited Holland was back in the 1980's on a school trip. Gotta admit I was looking forward to visiting the Rijk's Museum.
We only spent around 3 hours in the museum, but it was 3 hours well spent.

So here are plenty of photos to bore you all rigid!

That's a big sword!!

  1. Ooooh! Guns, lots of lovely guns...and lots of handles with sharp bits attached.
The ships. Any idea what scale they could be? I´d love to get my Hands on em.

    1. Ships were Big scale. Not big enough for me and you to fit in, but still big!

    2. hame. Still, bit of electronics, make so the guns could actually fire and then find a big enough Pond to launch them onto.

  7. Great pics, Ray! I visited Amsterdam on a rare work trip last year and was really disappointed that I couldn’t squeeze a visit to this museum. It looks like I missed even more than I thought :-0

  13. That's one I have now added to my list. Lovely photos Ray, and I particularly like the way you have taken them and without your reflection in the glass, something I have yet to master.
