Recently painted No 38 15mm FIW Mobile Forge

At SELWG in September I bought loads of various wagons from different companies, to make a large wagon train for my French Indian Wars project. This fine piece of equipment comes from Hallmark Miniatures, here in the UK sold by Magister Militum, the codes are CW002a and CW002. As I'm collecting figures for a large skirmish game I thought these would be a great addition to my British army, I've painted their breeches red, but I'm sure I may use them as French from time to time as well, that is when I've finished the rules and had a few games!!!! The first 4 pics are of the crew working hard, the Blacksmith hammering away, his assistant holding the metal and the lad pumping the bellows. The last 4 pics are of the mobile forge in transet, ready to be attacked by the marauding Injuns!!!!!
Also I'll be using this as a piece of scenery for my NYW project and I don't see why it can't be used well into the Napoleonic Wars too.

  4. I do love these extra bits for the table. Yes, the soldiers and weaponry is nice, but civillians were there as well and it is always nice to see them engaged in their normal activities.
