Yes I know, more of Posties figures for the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-05. He bought far too many of them and got me to paint them all, why you ask....how the hell do I know I answer!!!!!!
These were entered into the Analouge Painting Challenge in mid March along with the Russian machine guns, which I'll post another day. All the figures are from Irregular, once again they're not the best figures out there today, but once they've had a lick of paint, they look the bizz. I still wish Postie would have let me ink these figures just to give them a little depth, which I think is badly needed, but there you go!!! I've still got a back log of figures to post from the Challenge and will fit them in as and when....Cheers!!!!
So many periods, so little time. Irregular Miniatures have a charm of their own and I have used them to build and fill out a couple of armies over the years.
ReplyDeleteNice models, but agreed that they could use some ink to give it some shading.. still nice though :)
ReplyDeleteMy imagination is an interesting place. I saw them all blowing up larger holes up their own behinds. I probably shouldn't be awake right now.
ReplyDeleteThey look good. Inked for depth and they would look even better. Ink and be damned I say. If he then doesn't like them he can paint them... (I'm in that kinda mood today).
ReplyDeleteThis has got very boriiinnnnnnggggggggggggggggggg!
ReplyDeletePoor Postie, he should be allowed to have them as he want them even though he is wrong ;-)
ReplyDeleteWill you and Fran be talking by Saturday?
Ian
Well, he'll be walkin', by the look of it!
DeleteThey look great to me. Does Postie have an issue with inking?
ReplyDeleteNot really, he just doesn't want these inked and can't tell me why??
DeleteNice. Those are some wicked guns they've got there.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty amazing how many figures you churned out in such a short time.
ReplyDeleteThose look very nice. The bases are very good, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat!
ReplyDeleteBase are great. Your just a painting machine
ReplyDeleteNice work, Sir.
ReplyDeleteGosh, Ray. You really like machine guns, don't you? They look terrific!
ReplyDeleteNot me Sidney, I'm just the mug who painted them up!
DeleteWow, that is a lot of machine guns. They look good.
ReplyDeleteMore good looking figures. What is the scale of the rules you'll use?
ReplyDeleteTo be totally honest...I haven't a clue!!
DeleteAmazing! Absolutely amazing! You are a machine Sir!
ReplyDeleteWould that possibly be a gun type??
DeleteIts so nice to see troops from the Russo-Japanese War and these are lovely. I agree with you they do need a coat of ink on them.
ReplyDeleteYou are a painting machine! Those look great - what a cool period to game!
ReplyDeleteMore of them, Ray? You have done a great painting work. This period is very interesting, I expect to see battle with these nice models.
ReplyDeleteIs Postie planning to refight the RJW on a 1 to 1 scale??? Impressive firepower (and quite scary if I was a Russian Infantryman facing them)
ReplyDeletego ray. go and beat the crap out of your enemies
ReplyDeleteYour a machine Ray!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Great painted unit again Ray!

You're right Ray, they could have used some inking. These are lovely but a little shading would have been nice too.
ReplyDeleteRay, you paint like a Demon. And you work full time too! Really nice work as always. I agree about the inking though.
