A recent entry into the Analouge Painting Challenge, these boys netted me 42 points to add to my total.
The figure are made by Hallmark and sold in the UK by Magister Militum.
I've painted these fine looking fellows up as English and they'll be busy building a fort, laying a pontoon or if they've been really naughty boys...digging Latrines.
I do have some figures awaiting a lick of paint for the French, so keep an eye out they'll be arriving soon I hope??
I've named each figure for a member of the Rejects, so when or if I finally get a game going with these lot, then the lads will enjoy killing each other!!
Postie, after all he is losing his hair?? |
A rather skinny version of Fran and Ian. |
Richard enjoys digging in the garden so does, not so Big Lee! |
Smiffy and Surj ( Who's got the hardest job, carrying all the muck about....remember Samsat!) All the other Rejects including me are the Officer's ordering the riff raff about!! |
Thanks mate, you're all heart....
ReplyDeleteThey're great, but you may have missed a trick with a dollop of greenstuff on the tum of a couple of them! :-)
ReplyDeleteBit more than a dollop...me thinks!!
DeleteNice !
ReplyDeleteFran seems a bit...Thinner..... Maybe it is due to the work?
ReplyDeleteGreat miniatures mate!!!
Very nice! A lot of scalps for the taking!
ReplyDeleteThis is no good leadership Ray. You could have taken at least one of the figures and given it your name. The one leaning on his shuffle (Big Lee) would have been a good one. So you could pretend that you're doing something.
ReplyDeleteExcellent painted figures Ray!
Greetings

Corking stuff, Ray. I'm meaning to do some pioneers, converted from those Reiver Games gunners I've got left over. One more project!
ReplyDeleteNice work (and off the beaten track). Planning a siege game?
ReplyDeleteGotta work out the rules first!!!!
DeleteI feel a gladiatorial contest brewing up...
ReplyDeleteNice set of diggers.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone do the "take your pick" gag yet!?
I clicked on the blog roll piccy and ended up on your post from yesterdy, you´re doing bloody well with the painting challenge...keep at it!!!!

ReplyDeleteGreat stuff! I really like the extras!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Yet more character stuff, just how many figures do you have?
ReplyDeleteIan
Lots!
Deletethe detail is incredible!
ReplyDeleteThese will again add a lot of flavour to the table
ReplyDeleteThose look great, and very useful in dioramas as well.
ReplyDeleteI'd say that's mean, but it's just funny.
ReplyDeletegreat painting...
ReplyDeleteLurker made one of my and Anne. Fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteI like that you made the guys. Only, where are you? I didn't see you make you on this page.
You've seen yours then? I love mine. We've got serious cleavage Whisk!!
DeleteYou've got the knockers and I've got the legs. We are quite the pair. So much fun.
DeleteVery good Ray! I wonder how many of them will end up on latrine duties?!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice models, Ray.
ReplyDeleteYou have quite the imagination, Ray.
ReplyDeleteHaving worn those neck stock thingies, that would be the neck item I'd take off when working in the dirt.
ReplyDeleteThey are great mate, I really have to start looking at these wee 15mm figures now.
ReplyDelete15's the way to go, cheap and easy to paint!
DeleteExcellent job! Any upcoming sieges planned so we can see these fellows in action?
ReplyDeleteThat's the plan, but I've gotta get my finger out and sort the rules out first.
DeleteDoes Fran have one of you in Franonia Ray? If you battle him then he'll have to try to kill himself to win and visa versa. Now that's a game I want to see on video!!
ReplyDeleteHe's paintinmg me up as the leader of the rebel forces, Fran the dictator has tanks and upto date 90's weaponry, I'll have a catapult and a potato gun??
DeleteNice job Ray, though I have to say, I didnt realise at first glance that they were 15mm, but that you had done a Hobbit working party!
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it, they do look a little like mini Frodo's don't they??
DeleteLOL Nasssty Hobbittsss
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done though Ray, Like to see non fighting poses adds character to the battlefields
