RP No150 NYW French Chevauleger regt Anjou

Ah that's better, back to Historical figures and even better my beloved NYW!!!
The French army is expanding, which is great news!
My next unit painted up are the Chevauleger regt Anjou
They were raised in 1665 as Chevauleger regt Villars and wore grey coats with red cuffs then in 1688 became regt Anjou and changed their uniform to Blue coats cuffed in red.

They're Essex figures, surprise, surprise!! And the flag is another one from the sadly
defunct Venexia Miniatures page.

They earned me 49 points in the Challenge, raising me to my highest position of 19th!

  5. Very nice. I have just found out I have a lace wars game next Sunday so I'd best get painting. Therefore expect another Challenger to be doing 15mm floppy hat figures! I shall take inspiration from you though.

    Nice job Rayolla!!!

Hey, Francois is bragging about winning a game. Now I heard you weren't there, so methinks that could be the cause for this anomaly. Either that or the world is coming to an end. Shite here come the locusts :)

    1. Yep I like the flags too, its very unusual to see a French Horse flag without any Fleur de lys spattered all over one side of it, in the period.
