AHPC 13 - Haitian Revolution - Royal Navy Landing Party

Its Haitian Revolution time!!
We had their leader Horatio Hornblower earlier on in the challenge.

so here we have his Royal Navy landing party.

The figures are from Britannia Miniatures that are available from Grubby Tanks.

And very nice figures they are too.

These 8 will add 40 points to my total.

  1. Lovely work Ray. Are they after the horse in the field?

    1. They are indeed! I used to use this pic as a background when I first started my blog. The horses name is Francis, can't think why I called him that??? And I think he's a donkey too?

  2. Nice! Glad you had several angles as I couldn't tell what the guy on the end was doing. (The one blowing the horn.)

  5. Nice bunch of sculpts, painted to your usual good standards Ray. That bloke with the blunderbuss is my fav though - that would be nasty to face in the confines of shipboard combat!

  7. Excellent. I was part of the ships landing party on the Tartar, more like Carry on Sailor.

    1. Sten and a radio, no room for a camera. Scene in ‘Virgin Soldiers’ with the banner during the riot, that was us.
