My first "New Stuff" painted in the new house, just so happens to be some scatter terrain, for my and Lee's Retreat from Moscow shenanigans.
All these 3D printed items come from Temu, they're not the best I've seen, but paint up well.
They were very cheap, only costing £4 for the lot, so i can't complain.
Got some wagons coming up next, just gotta add a little snow........
Great looking scatter terrain Ray, always help to bring the table top to life
ReplyDeleteSure does!
DeleteFantastic stuff Ray!
ReplyDeleteCheers Michal.
DeleteThat 'snow' is incredibly realistic Ray. almost makes you shiver!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Lee.
Glad you like it Lee.
DeleteVodka. What else would they be guarding?
ReplyDeleteCheap quality from Temu is no surprise.
Yes, indeed!
DeleteThis scene looks very cold!
ReplyDeleteIt does, Jon.
DeleteThey look fantastic, Ray and very fitting for your Retreat From Moscow project. Keep these posts coming, as they keep me going whenever I believe I've seen painted one too many of my own Napoleonic era figures. LOL!!
ReplyDeleteKeep plugging away Simon!
Delete3-D has really exploded over the years.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly has, Neil!
DeleteAtmospheric and beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil.
DeleteLovely stuff mate.
ReplyDeleteTa lad!
DeleteNice start in the new digs. And of course, "Winter is coming" (couldn't help it).
ReplyDeleteLol
DeleteThat look good Ray, pretty sure I have the same set. Did you get my link to the "winter trees"?
ReplyDeleteI did thanks, a purchase has been made!
DeleteTemu can be quite hit and miss I have found, but you have done a great job painting these up Ray.
ReplyDeleteYes, it can Lawrence, but for the price sometimes it worth the taking the chance.
DeleteVery nice although those wooden bits and bobs likely to become firewood very shortly :-)
ReplyDeleteYou're probably right, Sgt!
DeleteGreat scatter terrain and the story is already enhanced. Wine or vodka in the barrels? Only open barrels will tell.
ReplyDeleteThey'd probably have to chip whatever in the barrels out. It'd make nice ice cubes though?
DeleteLovely work, you have done a great job on them Ray, very handy pieces for your project.
ReplyDeleteCheers Donnie, glad you approve!
DeleteGreat little set pieces Ray!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris!
DeleteHandy additions. May I humbly suggest that you take a look at the broken down carts - scatter terrain - at Alternative Armies for there Deadloque range [the "Retreat from Moscow" version of Flintloque]. The figures are larger than Perry so unfortunately don't blend well but I don't think that would matter with the resin carts which already have snow on the bases. I bought and painted them and was happy with the results. Just a suggestion.
ReplyDeleteStephen
Thanks Stephen, I've never seen this range before, and you're right the cart looks perfect, an order has been placed!
DeleteIf only the range was a little less fantasy I'd buy a lot more.
Nice Ray 👍
ReplyDeleteCheers Matt.
DeleteLovely stuff, Ray. Good wood for a fire or two.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, warm brandy or vodka for dinner!
DeleteThat's funny, thought I'd already left a message, great looking scatter terrain, even if my daughter would give me he'll if I bought anything from teemu!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Mine do too, just don't tell them. I got a lecture last time I mentioned it.
DeleteNice job Ray
ReplyDeleteCheers Dave!
DeleteWhilst the quality might be up to scratch, they look prefectly good as scatter terrain and when based up together, as shown here. Excellent work!
ReplyDeleteGlad you approve, Steve!
DeleteNicely done Ray!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill!
DeleteGreat looking terrain, Ray. The snow looks very realistic.
ReplyDeleteGlad you approve, Dean.
