Earlier this month me and Lee, or rather Lee and me, as I'm his sidekick!!, were invited down into deepest darkest Deal, in Kent, for a day's fun and games with Paul, from Pazoot, You Tube Channel.
There was lots planned for the day, firstly...
Paul had set up a game of Bolt Action for us both. Lee drew the Brits and I played the Germans
Paul has got some gear I can tell you!
And its all a tad expensive too!
Oooooo look? I'm on TV!
Lee looking very pleased for himself!
We were treated to a Fish n Chip lunch at the Coastguard in St Margret's Bay.
And very nice it was too, thanks Paul!
I won't go through the game, as Paul will be posting some action photos and film on his channel. But very annoyingly on the last turn of the game, Lee scrapped a draw, the lucky bugger!
Then Lee was interviewed for Paul's channel.
Boy that boy can talk!
As it started getting dark outside the lads from Paul's local club East Kent Wargames Club, started to turn up, one table looked like a Sci Fi game of some sort while these guys set up a Rapid Fire Relaoded game.
We were both interviewed talking about our favourite 5, which will appear on Pazoot, sometime soon.
The favourite 5 were
1 Something from your early days of wargaming.
2 Something from your favourite period
3 Your favourite tool or accessory
4 Favourite item from a stalled project
5 Favourite item from a recent project
Plus
6 Bonus - Anything you want to show off or talk about
So join the Pazoot channel if you fancy seeing my and Lee's favourite 5, and if Paul keeps it in, me getting rather miffed........sidekick indeed!!!!!
What a great day, thanks for the invite, Paul, we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Looks like a great game day - I do like the look of the restuarant you guys went to too.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great looking game for sure:). Maybe it's just me, but I much prefer Blogs over Vlogs, as you can read the former much more quickly than watching the latter. Each to their own though!
ReplyDeleteOn blogs, I am with you, Steve!
DeleteThe restaurant, was infact a pub, that you have drive down a cliff to get to, so its actually on the beach. I checked my mobile, driving down you lose the UK signal and log onto French Wifi.
DeleteJon, Blogs rule!
Good looking game Ray and will check out you and Lee's or should that be Lee and your interviews!
ReplyDeletehaha!
DeleteLovely looking game with beautiful figures Ray and look at you, a YouTube personality....people will start asking you for your autograph soon!!
ReplyDeleteOk, I'll send one over in the post.....
DeleteGreat to see you two fellas out and enjoying yourselves! You both are becoming celebrities!
ReplyDeleteWe're all celebrities in our little corner on the universe.
DeleteThat is a very professional setup, and a fun day out. Was the gaming in a local hall?
ReplyDeleteYes, it was in Langdon Village Hall.
DeleteLooking as great game!
ReplyDeleteAgreed it was a great set up.

ReplyDeleteCertainly was, Chris.
DeleteThat was very cool! You will be a YouTube sensation.
ReplyDeleteLOL, Lee maybe, defo not me.
DeleteLooks like a day well spent, Ray. I'll be watching Pazoot's channel for sure.

DeleteMy husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease four years ago. After prescription treatments failed to help, we tried an herbal program from NaturePath Herbal Clinic. Within months, his alertness, balance, and energy improved dramatically he regained much of his independence and confidence. It’s been life-changing. If you or a loved one has Parkinson’s, I recommend looking into their natural approach: www.naturepathherbalclinic.com
