I bought these fine looking fellow at Warfare in November, they helped me make up my mind in painting up the two 15mm armies for the Relief of Vienna in 1683. You may recall me painting up a ton of 25mm figures for the same period to use the skirmish rules Donnybrook. So why do the same period in 15mm you ask?
Coz I can!!!
Coz I can!!!
I inked them and rebased them.
I've got a long way to go, I was hoping to have most of these painted up during the Painting Challenge, but I'm running out of time, so I'll be happy if I get 50% finished before the Challenge ends on 20th March. Here's my list below, anything in red has been painted and ticked off the list.

ReplyDeleteGotta agree, Neil.
DeleteExcellent Ray. Do you think Venexia and Essex Cavalry will work on the same base?
ReplyDeleteNot 100%, but I'd say around 70% ish.
DeleteThanks, I might get some and try it out.

DeleteHere in my country we boo and hiss and spit on Turkish spahias and even their jannisaries were so evil that they ended up as eternal villains in our epic poems.
ReplyDeleteOh gawd!
DeleteSome lovely colourful toys there Ray…
ReplyDeleteThe Ottoman Turks were my first Renaissance army… Minifigs 15mm.
Looking forward to seeing this all come together.
All the best. Aly
Me too Aly, they certainly are a colourful bunch!

They're a nice army to paint up in any scale, I've already got loads in 25's and now 15's!
