Just a quick post for today. Here's part of my last multi-part entry into the Analouge Painting Challenge. My I present Cowboy Curt, a member of The Wild Bunch. He's my entrance fee into the challenge and once Fran and Lee have painted there's up, he'll be galloping over the pond to meet the rest of the Bunch!
Cowboy Curt is a Foundry figure I got off of Fran a while ago. He along with the other bits I posted earned me 105 points and my highest position in the Challenge yet, 20th place!!!!!
I have painted another unit and will hopefully get it sent off to Curt today and I'm yet to start my entry into the next bonus round either????
I'm absolutely knackered, I've just finished my 14th 12 hour shift on the trot at work, I started the day after Boxing Day!!! and now I've got toothache........it just keeps getting better!!!
Very cool gunslinger, Ray. I like the pose and basing - the backdrop is very cool too. Dean
ReplyDeleteCheers Dean!
DeleteWell the miniature has come out great!
ReplyDeleteYou could get Fran to knock that tooth out for you?
I could.....but I won't???
DeleteVery nice, Ray ;)
ReplyDeleteCheers Monty!!
DeleteCowboy Curt is bad ass.
ReplyDeleteYep!
DeleteNice work Ray! I think I have some gunslingers that can take him down though.
ReplyDeleteImpossible, Cowboy Curt is the meanest badass cowboy in the land!!
Delete14 12 hour shifts in a row. You are a better man than me!
ReplyDeleteI like the gunfighter he should make a great addition to the bunch. My figure in the same box as Fran's and Lee's! Wild I'd be LIVID! Unless the rich reject was paying the postage!
Not a better man Clint...a bloody idiot!!! No probs posting the figure together, we'll have to get you down for another game then. won't we??
DeleteNice painting work, but take care of yourself too
ReplyDeleteI do try, but its not working!!
DeleteLooks great, Ray! Cheers to twentieth place.
ReplyDeleteAnd two weeks of twelve hour days? Ugh.
Ugh indeed!!!!
DeleteLovely result there Mr Ray!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rodger!
DeleteHell Ray that's a tough series of shifts..good job on Cowboy Curt.
ReplyDeleteCheers Dave and yes it is...or was?
DeleteNice figure Ray :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tamsin!
DeleteJesus that's a lot of hours to work in a row Ray. I bet your family has missed having Daddy around for all that time.
ReplyDeleteI really did like this cowboy as the brushwork was so good.
I've still not recovered and I'm back to work tomorrow for another 7 shifts....groan!!!!
DeleteGreat painted figure Ray!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
Thanks Peter!!
DeleteGreat cowboy, Ray!
ReplyDeleteHa! 12 hr shifts, I am now doing those as a day- walker! It was a lot easier( and less busy) as a night shifter, I also had loads of hobby time on my off nights! I haven't been able to finish my Brits nor move on to the french since I've traded shifts....you've still beat me with painted minis!
I lurv the 12 hour shifts?????
DeleteI don't think I could take the stress of this competition!
ReplyDeleteMe neither, but its a great way to get rid of that unpainted leadpile!
DeleteHe looks good on the streets of Deadwood!
ReplyDeleteIndeed!
DeleteNice work Ray.
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Cheers Chris!
DeleteHe looks a treat Ray. Toothache sucks mate!
ReplyDeleteTell me about it????

ReplyDeleteThanks John, Glad you liked it!
DeleteNice job Ray another figure added to the done pile
ReplyDeleteYep there is a light at the end of the tunnel......somewhere???

ReplyDeleteThanks PK!!!!
DeleteLooking good Ray, looking good!
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil!!!!
DeleteI took one look at the picture and put my hands up. Then I realized it was a mini. :)
ReplyDeletehe he!
DeleteDraw Cowboy! Lookin' good Ray!
ReplyDeleteCheers Lou!
DeleteAwesome stuff Ray and thanks so much. I hope you and your poor tooth feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like the figure Curt, when the rest of the Rejects have painted theirs we'll ship them over in one package.
DeleteGood looking mini, who to me looks like a city-slicker or riverboat gambler. As for the toothache, I empathise as I had a similar problem over the holidays, but looking on the bright side, mine has now gone!
ReplyDeleteWhat's that tooth or the ache?
DeleteCowboy Curt is looking pretty darn good.
ReplyDeleteHe is rather dashing eh?
DeleteThat's what I thought??
ReplyDeleteI love cowboy Curt. He looks like he's ready for anything. A gun battle or a night on the town with his lady.
