RP No 148 Cowboy Curt

Just a quick post for today. Here's part of my last multi-part entry into the Analouge Painting Challenge. My I present Cowboy Curt, a member of The Wild Bunch. He's my entrance fee into the challenge and once Fran and Lee have painted there's up, he'll be galloping over the pond to meet the rest of the Bunch!
Cowboy Curt is a Foundry figure I got off of Fran a while ago. He along with the other bits I posted earned me 105 points and my highest position in the Challenge yet, 20th place!!!!!
I have painted another unit and will hopefully get it sent off to Curt today and I'm yet to start my entry into the next bonus round either????
I'm absolutely knackered, I've just finished my 14th 12 hour shift on the trot at work, I started the day after Boxing Day!!!  and now I've got toothache........it just keeps getting better!!!

  1. Very cool gunslinger, Ray. I like the pose and basing - the backdrop is very cool too. Dean

  2. Well the miniature has come out great!

You could get Fran to knock that tooth out for you?

  4. 14 12 hour shifts in a row. You are a better man than me!
I like the gunfighter he should make a great addition to the bunch. My figure in the same box as Fran's and Lee's! Wild I'd be LIVID! Unless the rich reject was paying the postage!

  8. Jesus that's a lot of hours to work in a row Ray. I bet your family has missed having Daddy around for all that time.

I really did like this cowboy as the brushwork was so good.

  10. Great cowboy, Ray!
Ha! 12 hr shifts, I am now doing those as a day- walker! It was a lot easier( and less busy) as a night shifter, I also had loads of hobby time on my off nights! I haven't been able to finish my Brits nor move on to the french since I've traded shifts....you've still beat me with painted minis!

  21. Good looking mini, who to me looks like a city-slicker or riverboat gambler. As for the toothache, I empathise as I had a similar problem over the holidays, but looking on the bright side, mine has now gone!
