This rather dashing??? looking chap was one of my entries into the Analogue Painting Challenge back in March. I'm not sure of the make of the figure but it could be Old Glory?? Any ideas?
He was an 18th century figure, with the usual ponytail but after a little conversion work, with the addition of a rather poncy wig, he fits right into the previous century and as luck would have it, my Donnybrook collection!!!
So Lord Francis Fezziwig was born.
Huzzah! for Lord Fezziwig!
ReplyDeleteHuzzah!!!!
DeleteI think the wig suits him well!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex!!
DeleteEat the rich!
ReplyDeleteYeh!!!!
DeleteVery nice painted figure!
ReplyDeleteCheers Bruno!!
DeleteIt's a good Name for such a character. And I am sure Donnybrook will benefit from his misrule.
ReplyDeleteLets hope so Clint!
DeleteFrom the neck up, I would think he was a Dixon samurai :) Just kidding, Ray. No idea who made him, but he certainly is a dashing character nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't seem like anyone knows who made him???
DeleteHe is a great character. Nice conversion, Ray.
ReplyDeleteCheers Jay, I think he's gonna be trouble!
DeleteGreat work, he looks like a character from one of those 18the century satirical cartoons
ReplyDeleteHe does doesn't he, I think he looks a lot like the old English actor Robert Morley.
DeleteLord Francis looks very cool Ray! Really nice paint work Sir!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rodger!

He's a bad man, be careful!

DeleteYou asked about the nitrate free bacon. I don't know all that much about it but I do know it has less salt, tastes better (to me), and doesn't give me a headache when I eat it.
DeleteHope all is well on your end. Boogie boogie.
Great work there Ray and does his Lordship own land in Ireland?
ReplyDeleteMe thinks he does!!
DeleteLol Awesome! Great looking characterful mini!
ReplyDeleteCheers Simon!!
DeleteHe's got the Dave Mustaine look about him, nice figures!
ReplyDeleteAfraid to say I had to look up Mr Mustaine on Google?????? I see what you mean!!
DeleteAnd what a splendid figure he is Ray - great brushork and conversion.

ReplyDeleteHe is a bit isn't he???
DeleteGreat paint job Ray...but he needs to stop downing 8 pints with his fish suppers. It's affecting his figure.
ReplyDeleteI think its far too late for him now???
DeleteNice one, Ray.
ReplyDeleteCheers Stefan!!
