Salute 2015 Blogger Meet-up

The 2015 Blogger Meet-up was a great success, we had around 30 bloggers turn up, I tried to say hello to them all and failed miserably!
I've named everyone in the pic above (pic pinched from Pendragon Without's blog) that's him kneeling in the front. There are three bloggers that I couldn't identify, the lad in the green T-shirt
(Mike C has owned up and said its him in the green T-Shirt)
and the two chaps in the middle, between Carl and Ashley (Paint it Pink)
Who are you??
One chap has been identified as Neil Shuck from Meeples & Miniatures!! Link below

And we are now complete, Neil's Meeples chum Dave Luff completes the line up.

From Left to Right
Me
Postie
Smiffy
Provost Marshal

Now this is embarrassing??
I promised the chap on the right, that I'd pimp his blog as he's in need of some more followers.
But.......
I can't remember either his name or his blog title. I've gone through my entire bloglist
but can't find the poor chap???
Dave has commented below, with his blog address
to if you would all be so kind and go join his blog.
At the moment I'm his only follower.

And there he is again, between BigLee and Loki??

Sidney Roundwood, Provost Marshal, Phyllion & Whisperin Al....again??

In the back ground Postie gives me the V for Victory sign
while chatting to Clint and Dave D.

Provost Marshal & Whisperin Al yet again???

  2. Terrific posting Ray. It was great to finally put some faces to names - especially those who I comment with most often like Clint and Michael. The chap between Carl and Paint it Pink is Neil Shuck from the Meeples & Miniatures podcast.

  3. Nice set of pics from a great meet-up Ray.

In the first pic, your arrow for "Clint" is actually pointing to the guy you promised to pimp but can't remember who it was. Clint was behind Whispering Al who was behind you.
I think the lad in the green t-shirt was identified as Mike C (can't remember what his blog is though).

    1. Robert,

Although I missed (forgot! Doh!) to be at the Bloggeres Meet at 1pm I had a great time at Salute. OK, all the science fiction nonsense is not really my thing but there were many at the show who really did enjoy all of that.

I'd suggest that it's worth the trip down once every year- it's not *that* expensive at the end of the day, I say that with the caveat that I was lucky enough to stay at my lovely Sister's place in Bromley so I didn't have to fork out for accommodation. I understand that the hotel near the venue is not much more than Travelodge(?).

      Darrell.

    2. If you're gonna go to just one show in the UK in a year, make it Salute, yes its expensive and yes the carpark is dear, BUT, you get what you pay for.....just wish it was on for a few more hours, just to give you time to have a real good look around at all that's on show.

    3. It'll be a serious trip for me Darrell coming from America but first I've got to get a new passport and real chore since 9/11.

  29. Nice post Ray. It was a big bunch this year and as many people have said its great to put faces to names. I thought I'd spoken to most people but now looking at your photo's it's clear I missed over half of them!! So if I didn't say hello it's not because I was being antisocial but because I'm a "bear of little brain" (to quote Winnie-the-pooh) and didn't recognise some people. It also didn't help that I wandered off to do more shopping before the meet-up ended.... I blame Clint for showing me the Liquid Rust he bought and convincing me I needed some as well!
