Like many of you, yesterday I received my victim for my Secret Santa from Catherine and from Chris a few weeks ago, Catherine urged us all to post a few ideas of what we'd like. So here goes.......in no particular order.
or something along those lines........or if you fancy a change of scale some 15mm figures
Essex Miniatures pack - BRO71 European Armies: Musketeers in Long Coat & Wide Brim Hat,
without Apostles: At ease, musket at 45 degrees
Not that I'm particular at all????
What? No Weeping Angels?
ReplyDeleteAfraid not Whisk, but I did find some unpainted Dalaks in a box that I'd forgotten about the other day??
DeleteVery cool. Are you going to paint them?
DeletePS: I would LOVE three life-size Weeping Angels for the garden.
I see coal in your future mutton chops!
ReplyDeleteHope not?????
DeleteI think Fran's buying you diamonds ;-)
ReplyDeleteIan
I wish??? More likely a bag of potatoes! Actually more likely bugger all!!!
DeleteLove those horses in the first one!
ReplyDeleteThey are rather nice aren't they?
DeleteGood luck with your wishes Ray!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed!
DeleteWell you may know what you want. I personally hope your Secret Santa can get you something you had not even thought of and yet love equally as much.
ReplyDeleteThat happened last year Clint, so you never know???
DeleteAw, forgot we had to do this. Birthday coming up and the inevitable Christmas, which means I get mithered with the "What do you want for . . . ?" questions and then get moaned at for having no idea. Cheap to keep, that's me ;O)
ReplyDeleteNice crop of wants on your list though. I like the Warfare cavalry - nicely animated.
Why thank you my good man!
ReplyDeleteYep, the enthusiastic Cavalry are quite nice sculpts, I've got some already and need a few more, of course I'll get far too many but hey ho, that's the life and time of a gamer.
ReplyDeleteYou've certainly given him some ideas. And I'm sure in a broad price range. No excuses now, Santa!
ReplyDeleteNo none indeed Alex...............I hope?
DeleteBest of luck, this list is really nice!
ReplyDeleteAll from the same period and a bit boring for my Santa, I'm afraid.
DeleteI don't see any space marines or goblins in there Ray. Do you have enough already? ;p
ReplyDeleteHope you get something you like! :)
Of course I have enough Space Marines and Goblins, none is enough!
DeleteI think Ray really, REALLY needs some Flintlocke Orcs. All those dashing uniforms and muskets, Ray will love em! ;)
DeleteBah Humbug!
DeleteAll nicely sculpted entries onto your Wish List, Ray. Are these destines for a Donnybrook force?
ReplyDeleteYep, all are destined for my Donnybrook madness!
DeleteA lot of choice there fella!
ReplyDeleteI do hope so.
DeleteI hope your Secret Santa is reading this! :)
ReplyDeleteMe too?
DeleteA fine list Raymondo!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you, young man!
DeleteVery fine list, Ray! I really like the dragoons with the stocking caps. As I delve farther in French and Indian War, I have discovered that troops would use sleeves of worn jackets to make such head gear. I suppose it was much warmer than a tricorn and kept the ears warm in the cooler seasons.
ReplyDeleteWinter's coming! ; )
I suppose it did? Also, their tricorns kept getting caught on branches in the woods, so a soft cap was much easier to work with.
