Just a small post from me today, I'm still painting up figures for my and Lee's Retreat from Moscow armies.
Reject Colin gave me this Wrabses wagon, which was painted a month or so ago, it had been chipped in a few places so with a quick overpaint, it was ready to base up. Originally I was going to have it as a pulled load, but then thought, I need some terrain. So I pulled off a wheel and voila, another wagon for the French to hide behind. I can't seem to find t on Warbases site though??
So a big thank you to Colin for the wagon!
In other news, I'm in the wars again, I've pulled my back out, so, I've been off work for 2 days already,
and will probably miss the first few of next week. I'm rattling from all the medication I'm taking
and I've got tonsilitis too.
Happy Days!!
Lee and myself were supposed to be interviewed by none other than Ken Reilly on his Podcast Yarkshire Gamer, click here, last Tuesday. But fate meant we had to abandon the show, due to the fact that for some reason, Lee couldn't log onto Ken's page. We think its all sorted now, so will be doing the interview this coming Tuesday.
Fingers crossed!
Nicely done! (Not that I have a thing for wrecks or anything like that.)
ReplyDeleteLol.
DeleteRay, you make broken stuff look great! Sorry to hear about your back and tonsilitis. Hope you are back fit soon. What is on the agenda for your interview?
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon. We'll be talking about Posties Rejects and about Salute 2025. Hopefully we don't embarrass ourselves!
DeleteSorry to hear about your back, Ray, I managed to throw mine out last week as well. Well done on the wagon, though!
ReplyDeleteCheers Bill. I need to get rid of my belly, it's not helping the situation! Ain't easy though.
DeleteNice work on the wagon Ray, a really handy terrain piece. Sorry to hear about your health travails, hopefully you will be over them soon. Look forward to hearing you and Lee on the Yarkshire Gamer.
ReplyDeleteCheers Donnie, really looking forward to the interview.
DeleteAnother frozen masterpiece!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michal.
DeleteRay lad , you are falling apart like yer wagon. At the least wagon looks the part . Were you celebrating Leeds being promoted too much I wonder ? 😆😆
ReplyDeleteIt's been an adventure all round Dave. Hopefully I'll be fit enough for Partizan?

I love the snow, Ray!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ivy!
DeleteGreat looking terrain piece for the Retreat, Ray!
ReplyDeleteCheers Dean.
DeleteA nice addition Ray, you can never have too much terrain (I know, I don't have nearly enough!) bad luck on the back - getting old is a bstrd, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteCertainly is Keith. I wonder what it's got in store for me next?
DeleteGreat job on this Ray. Always love the scatter terrain folks do for Retreat from Moscow games.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jason. You need lots of scatter for the Retreat, for sure.
DeleteNice little vignette/terrain piece, hope you recover soon 🤞
ReplyDeleteCheers Matt!
DeleteGet well as soon as possible, back problems are no fun. You did a splendid job on the wagon, great terrain piece!
