1812 The Reteat from Moscow 10mm, Abandoned Wagons

Not that you need any abandoned wagons to play, the scenarios in 1812 The Retreat from Moscow rules, I thought It'd be rude not to add some to my small collection of 10mm figures. I may yet go back and convert one wagon into a sledge, which you might need in the game......if you're lucky that is?

The wagons once again like the rest of my 10mm collection come from Pendraken Miniatures.

  1. They definitely look a little rough. Well painted and put together though!

  2. No horses though... those Frenchies need to ask for their money back.

    1. The French were 28mm on their way into Russia and only 10mm on their way out 😂

  4. Nicely done and a good idea to go with the rounded bases.

    1. I think so, I wanted them to have a low profile, the 10mm figures are on washers, so I used card for these wagons.

  5. Hi Ray,

Superb work! They look wonderfully derelict and really add to the grim atmosphere of the 1812 boards. Mind you, as Dai pointed out, the lack of horses suggests the poor beasts have probably already ended up in the cooking pot!

    Cheers, Andy

  12. They look terrific Ray. If I had my time over I would have done much more in 10mm as it is a great little scale.

  14. Nicely done and full of despair. I bought my first car from a used car lot that looked like this! :)

  15. Great work Ray! Is 10mm snow any colder?

  16. Suitably forlorn looking. Could have used a dead body or two.

    1. I don't think Pendraken do them?

    2. They do Ray. Search 'Napoleonic Casualties' on their website and they have a few that might be of use, especially at this scale and with snow/mud to hide any anomalies etc.
