Just a quick update, sales of 1812 The Retreat from Moscow are going great and today a fellow blogger Ben has posted up a battle report of his first game,
1812 Retreat from Moscow - Scenario 1 - The Barn at DawnCheck out Ben's blog Miniature Wars you may have missed or click the link below. Ben took advantage of the offer to buy both the rules and the 10mm Pendraken figures, he's been busy painting up the figures and making terrain over the last few weeks, so check out his post, he had some real hard decisions to make!!!

He certainly is Iain!
DeleteOooo! Sounds great!
ReplyDeleteYep!
DeleteHi Ray,
ReplyDeleteBrilliant news that sales are going so well! Ben's report was a cracking read—that snow-covered table and those 10mm Pendraken figures look dead sharp. Forcing players into making brutal, desperate choices really captures the grim reality of 1812!
All the best, Andy
Totally agree Andy. It looks like Ben had a great first game.
DeleteGreat new Ray - that cottage on the Algarve will be yours before you know it!
ReplyDeleteHope so Keith, bit its more likely to be a tent in Clacton!
DeleteThanks Ray! I am really enjoying the game.
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean I am officially an Internet Influenza 😂
I'm really glad you are enjoying the rules, Ben. I thought you were already an influenza?
DeleteSo pleased the sales are going well. I haven't played a game, but thoroughly enjoyed looking through it, a great level of finish.
ReplyDeleteCheers Sir M, I'm so pleased you like the rules.
DeleteBen is a good ambassador for the rules, I like that in his write-up, his obvious pleasure in the game comes through.
ReplyDeleteYes it does doesn't it. I think Ben got right into the rules and played them in the spirit of how they wete qritten and supposed to play. Which is brilliant!
DeleteNot for me but glad the project is going well 👍
