With another Partizan over, its time to show off what I bought.
First up are 2 25mm buildings that I bought from the Wargames Illustrated table for £10 each
I pre-ordered some stream sections from The Last Valley, I plan to use these mainly for 15mm or smaller scale games.
To go with them some 15mm trees again from The Last Valley, only £2.50 each!
A small top up of paints from HLBS Co & Warbases and a laser pointer, and some new brushes from ABC Brushes
Lastly a selection of Three Musketeer figures from Redoubt Minis from the Bring & Buy for £20!
Can't be bad?
I bought a pack of those brushes too Ray - I've had some of their other ones in the past and they were pretty good so looking forward to giving them a try.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of my haul was a bit more modest that yours
've had a few pack from ABC before, and they're well worth the money tbh.
DeleteNice haul, Ray!
ReplyDeleteCheers Jon!
DeleteThat is a good haul of goodies Ray, the trees certainly look a great value buy. plus the bring and buy lot looks a real bargain.
ReplyDeleteI was very pleased with both, Donnie.
DeleteSensible purchases, Ray.
ReplyDeleteFor me, yes!
DeleteNice haul Ray
ReplyDeleteThanks Neil!
DeleteWhat kind of figurines are these?
ReplyDeleteThey're Redoubt Enterprises figures for the Three Musketeers, click this link. to see some figures I painted a few years ago.

A fine haul Ray!
ReplyDeleteI think so too, Chris.
DeleteGreat stuff!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michal!
DeleteBuildings are really cool. Can you imagine building something like them in real life and full scale? The amount of work involved!
ReplyDeleteJust dressing the stone to fit would take a lot of time, let alone laying them!
DeleteThose trees seem like excellent value. A great bunch of purchases there Ray.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence, I couldn't agree more...lol!
DeleteGreat selection of terrain there Ray and some handy hobby accessories. I assume the laser pointer if for Star Wars? 😁
ReplyDeleteIts to shine in Posties eyes when he makes a dodgy decision in our next game, Ben!
DeleteThat's quite a significant haul, Ray - you say "only £2.50" each, but I count 25 of those trees! The Redoubt figures seem like a good bargain, though.
ReplyDeleteI've got money to burn Keith...lol!
DeleteGreat stuff Ray splendid 👍
ReplyDeleteWhy thanks you Matt!!!
DeleteCracking haul Ray, that lot should keep you out of mischief for a while.
ReplyDeleteI reckon 10 minutes or so?
DeleteNice, at some shows now, things like trees are impossible to get. Hoorah for Last Valley. I got myself a laser pointer and at the time thought it a bit of a 'boys toy', but it has been very useful since day one.
ReplyDeleteAgreed Norm, I've wanted a pointer for ages now, but its always gone to the bottom of the list at each show I've been to, but the time was right at Partizan. I've never had my own table, I just need to fill it now and you can never have enough trees! I was going to make my own, but paying £2.50 per tree is a no brainer.
DeleteSplendid haul, Ray! Absolute bargain on those trees and the Bring & Buy figures.
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Andy
I was very pleased with what I picked up, Andy.
DeleteLove those beehive huts, or whatever you call the dry stone buildings. Lovely! And quick to paint up, too...
ReplyDeleteYeh, dunno what I'll be using them for, but they looked fab, so had to buy them.
DeleteA good haul there Ray, and very useful across many games.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, I'm very happy with the haul.
