Cavalier 2026

Most of the Rejects paid our annual homage to Tonbridge to once again visit Cavalier Wargames Show.
It was a great show I picked up lots of bits n bobs, more on those later.
Both Rejects Lee and Richard have already put a post up about the show, click there names to see more.

There were some fab looking games to see as well. So lets start with some of those games.

Real Time Wargames - The White Cockade - The '45 Rising

Konfederacy of Eastbourne Gamers - Battle of Fuentes de Onoro 1811
Blucher 10mm

Shepway Wargamers - An English's Castle - War of the Roses 1483

The Bring & Buy early in the day
It did get a little messy later!

Richard & Postie deciding who would buy the most tents from Debris of War.
Postie won by a mile!

Tonbridge Wargames Club - Port Arthur or Bust!
Russo-Japanese War 1903

Gravesend Gamers Guild - Hildisvini Crossing
Team Yankee - Northern Europe 1985

Emperor of the Battlefield - Huzzah Hussar!!
15mm Napoleonics

I spent a wad of cash here, more trees anyone???

Friday Nigh Fire Fight - Launch all Fighters
Star Wars - Spaceship Contact

Milton Hundred Wargames Club - The Mogaisciou
Task Force Ranger, Somalia

Andy - Mr Grubby Tanks
and Redoubt and Britannia and Kennington....

Kent & Sussex Dungeons & Dragons & Roleplaying Club
Pudding's End

Hailsham Wargames Club - The Battle of Malplaquet 1709
War of the Spanish Succession
20mm Spencer Smith figures!

This was my favourite game of the show!!!
2000 figures on show, can't get better than that!!!

Blotz

Crawley Wargames Club - Normandy Axis & Allies
D-Day 1944 10mm Figures

Never interrupt your enemy when he's making a mistake
(This was Jon, when playing me on Monday nights Zoom Game,)
(and yes it was me making that mistake!)

Maidstone and District Wargames Society - The Labyrinths of Mars
Journey to Barsoom and rescue Prince's and Princesses.

I asked myself a question....."Do I need to buy more figures for my and Lee's Russo-Finnish game?"

I bet you can guess the answer?

Rainham Wargames Club - Smoke on the Water
ACW Navel

Deal Wargames - Polish Blitzkrieg
Siege of Fraudstadt 1939

The main hall after lunch, it had started to thin out a little, maybe due to the parking costs?

Society of Ancients - Battle of Pharsalus 48BC

East Kent Wargames Group - Vietnam Jungle War
Jungle Recon Skirmish 28mm

3 games in 1

Paul & Wayne

  1. The D&D setup is really cool. And the Star Wars one - anything Star Wars is expensive so can you imagine how much money went into that setup?

  14. Hi Ray, thanks for such a thorough showing, looks a great game and I would love to browse the Debris of War stand. Some superlatives could be spent on the games, definitely a show punching above its weight.
