AHPC 8 Bonus Round "Musician" Donnybrook - Dancing duo

Another bonus round entry for the Challenge
For me this was the easiest Bonus Round " Musician"
It was the only round I knew what I'd paint as soon as I read the list.
The figures are from Col Bill's Depot Battalion sold as "17th Century Musicians and Dancers"

They can be bought here at Col Bill's for only £5!

They're not going to do a lot of fighting but should look the part, as
a bit of scenery, but you never know they could be hired assasins
scoping the village out??

AHPC8 - The Return of the Bloody Pig

Back in 2016, I won a prize draw over on Edwin's blog "Thoughts of a Depressive Diplomatist"
My prize was a £10 voucher to spend at Bad Sqiddo Games!!

Here's a pic taken from the post Bloody Pig, that crops up in my Top 10 very often. They must
be a popular item to buy over at Bad Sqibbo.

I've been wanting to paint these little piggies for a while now, so i took the
plunge and put paint to brush. These are a pack from Ristul's Extraordinary Market, sold
by Bad Squibbo Games in the UK for just £10.50.

The set includes 10 Pigs of various sizes. 1 large, 4 medium & 5 Piglets

Also included are 6 pieces of resin Farmyard terrain.

They're all based on various sized Warbases MDF bases.

My fav little piggy......rolling in the mud!
In reality the pigs are Fantasy based, but I've based the paint scheme on Berkshire pigs.
one of the oldest breeds in England.

AHPC8 - Donnybrook French Artillery 1690's

Here's my entry into the BFG (Big Freakin' Gun) Bonus round
Its my take on a French artillery piece from the 1690's.

The figures are from the most excellent Warfare Miniatures
Its code WLOA18 Positional Gun and can be bought for the princely sum of £15.
Which in my book is pretty good value for money.

I've kept the gun pretty generic, so if need be, it could be used for any side.

Its a bit of a monster!

Here's a close up pic of the Artillerymen, which can of course be painted up
as any side or army of the period.

The gun & 6 figures earned me 40 points, plus another 50 points for entering the bonus round.
So 90 points in all.
As I sit and type this post I'm in 36th place with 289 points, so I'm not doing too bad!
I do have the next Bonus Round " Musician" all ready and based, along with a few other figures, so look out for them soon on the AHPC  blogsite.
