15mm FIW Batrep - The Battle at Durand Farm June 1759

I've been in isolation for 10 days, gotta have a small op this Friday. So to help relieve the boredom, I organized a small game for the Rejects.
We played the 15mm French Indian War game on Zoom last night. Unfortunately, I was using my phone to broadcast the game to the lads. So I couldn't take any pics during the game. All these pics are from the end after the French had suffered a damn good thrashing!

The 60th Royal Americans are taking on a unit of Coueror de Bois while a random bear rooms the woods behind them.

A combined Grenadiers unit stand side by side with the 77th Foot Mongomeries Highlanders

We played a dummed down version of Donnybrook, just to make it easier on me!

The battle from the French side, a lone French infantry regt Artois, can be seen hiding in the woods. I didn't expect the game to swing around sideways as it did? It was a fairly even game, although the Brits did seem to have a lot more dice throwing luck than the French.

And it was me throwing all the dice as well!!!

Next time I'll try and get some pics.

    1. Indeed. Not sure when we'll be able to meet up for a proper game?

  2. Glad you were able to play even though not in person. Too much to distance there or wear a mask that long?

    1. Zoom is a fantastic bit of kit. Shame it's taken covid for us to realise it.

  11. Looks fab, but no matter how bad the French get beat there will be a lot of trouble when you ask the colonists to help pay for your efforts ;)
Zoom gaming, now that's something to try.

  12. Nice work running the game Ray - we have been using Teams at work quite a bit - mainly for Friday drinks all at home but drinking together for three hours on a Friday evening and no need to worry about limits cos we don't have to drive home - every cloud had a silver lining - or two! Good luck with your op.
