Almansa 1707 - English - Hill's Brigade

The last English and last Allied brigade for my Almansa project.

Hill's Brigade fought in the 2nd line of the left flank under the Conte de Alayda See the map above.

The regiments in the brigade are Hill's own regt, Lord Mark Kerr's, Alnutt's and Stewart's.

As with most English regiments they wore a nice red coat. All the flags are pure conjecture and made by me, using the cuff colour of the unit as the base flag colour.
The figures again are from Irregular's 2mm range.

  1. You really have done a great job and these and the project as a whole. I certainly look forward to seeing them in action:).

  2. Another nice batch there Ray and your conjectured flags seem to based on reasonable logic to me!

  4. Great work again Ray and nice to see some red regiments on show. I think you have done a good job on the flags, conjecture or not they work really well and lift up those little troops.

    1. Thanks Donnie, they're my best guess flags, but do as you said, lift them up.

  6. Great work Ray and they instantly stand out as being British.

  7. I very much like the look of these units Ray! I'm partial to Irregular for the smaller scales as well: an overlooked and perhaps under appreciated line (in 6mm as well) given their vintage.

    1. They are great little figures Ed, cheap and easy to paint up.
