Retreat from Moscow - 25mm Size Comparison

Just a small and quick post for today....

Stephan, aka Duke of Baylen asked a question about figure scale in the comments of me last post.

He asked, "How well do the Silver Bayonet figures fit with the Perries? I imagine the former are rather larger but I haven't any to compare. My interest is how well the Silver Bayonet figures would fit with the Deadloque range which really are big [though full of character]."

So here's a pic that will give you all and Stephen an idea of their scale.

From L to R Essex, Eureka, North Star (Muskets & Tomahawks), Perry and finally The Silver Bayonet.

They're all based up on Warbases 2mm round bases, wit Eureka being the smallest, but its quite difficult to decide on the tallest, but hopefully, you'll all agree that you can quite easily use all these figures together with no issues?
So what do you think????

  1. I think you should use them as-is. People come in all sizes anyway!

  2. I would have no heartburn mixing them.

  3. That look perfectly interchangeable Ray....the Silver Bayonet one may be the chunkiest, but not by much, and Grenzer John above is correct re mixing them together.

  4. I think they all work really well and seem a decent match of reach other, no one figure really towers over or is rally smaller than the next. Nice comparison shot.

  5. Look fine from here Ray. Good that there are multiple ranges to choose from for this project.

  7. I find that sometimes it is not so much the height that is the issue, but the differences in equipment size. They all look good to me.

  8. I'd be more than happy to mix them in units

  9. Certainly not a problem using any of the models shown together!
