Leaving Hornblower on his ship we move onto another French infantry Brigade.
This one was commanded by Polaston.
They like Sillery's brigade were in the front line of the centre left of the battle.
Regiments in this brigade were Medoc, 2 Battalions of Oleron and 2 Battalions of La Couronne.
All the flags come from my NYW collection and were shrunken down to approx 4mm. Yes they are a little big and yes you would have had Popeye's arms to hold them up!
Easy points again
5 bases @ 5 points each = 25pts
1 Brigadier base = 1/2 point
So a total of 25.5 once again.
More good progress Ray. I for one woukd be interested in a step by step account of how you paint these ....they are obviously tiny and detail is minimal, but what detail is there and how do you paint it? Maybe you can take a pic of each stage, next time you paint up one of these units?ReplyDelete
I'm halfway through making a post showing this Keith.Delete
So effective for the small scale. The mass really has its own quality. Good technique, however it is done.ReplyDelete
Glad you like them!Delete
Well done. Be cool to see all of the small ones lined up together. Bet it's massive.ReplyDelete
I've worked it out, the battle like should come to roughly 6 foot!Delete
Well done. You must already have an awesome force produced.ReplyDelete
Its getting there Rich, still lots to do.Delete
More great progress on your project Ray, another lovely addition to your French army..ReplyDelete
I hope you're counting the figures in these brigades Ray, so at the end of the year you can post a total that nobody else will be able to get near. Lovely work again.ReplyDelete
HaHa good idea Lawrence.Delete
Wow, very impressive!!ReplyDelete
