Re-Play 2023 Loot

I told myself before the Re-Play show last weekend that I didn't need to buy anything at the show??

Who was I kidding????

Debris of War did well by me, I spent all my dosh at their stall.
Some 25mm walling, did I need more walling? Of course not!

4 packs of tufts, these hopefully will be used on my 2mm terrain.

As will the static grass

I've long admired Tony's trees, so I thought I'd take the plunge and get some, they're not the cheapest trees on the market, but look fab and importantly, they're very steady, as the tree and part of the base is cast from metal. So the don't get knocked over very easily.
I cannot tell you how much I paid for the trees, just encase SWMBO, reads this post....

Who am I kidding, she'd rather stick pins in her eyes......(her words not mine!)

So there you have it, my Re-Play Loot!

  1. So, in summary, your willpower is non existent, your budgetary plan was destroyed, and you are hiding the truth from your wife!!!! Sounds very much like me!!!

  2. Obviously all the stuff is part of a cunning plan . You're just going over the process and will have an epiphany to share with us tomorrow. That would be my story, and I am sticking to it.

  3. Good looking investment, you need to emphasise that it will be worth more once you've finished with it! Nice trees and of course you need more walls, we all do, I've given up hiding costs as we share a bank account and it's pretty transparent, also I don't mind how many shoes she buys!

  8. Thanks for the Public Service Post - the prices on the tufts in particular are very low, compared to here - so I will take a look at their website - of course, the postage may end up making them no cheaper :(

  12. You've got to buy something at a show! Good to support the traders, especially at a new show where they are taking a bit of a punt on it. So you were doing a social service really!

  13. You did outstanding! The trees are excellent looking and you can never have too many stone walls. Well done.

  14. I had never heard of them before but Debris of War have some nice stuff. Those trees look great too, and I have some similar ones with metal trunks and wire branches which I bought years ago and they are definitely my favourite.

    1. They're a local Kent company, a very friendly couple who make top terrain bits n bobs. Give them a try.
