2020 Xmas Haul

I think I did rather well over Christmas?
13 packs of Trent Miniatures with a few packs of spare heads!!
These of course are for my Haitian Revolution adventure, the plan is to get these painted up during
the Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge? Fingers crossed!!
There are a few British Cavalry units, which look very different to the ones you'd expect, can't wait to get them painted up.

My only other wargaming esq pressie was Every Bullet Has Its Billet by Barry Hilton, from
Helion & Company. I've only had a quick flick at the moment, but very much like what I see!
One thing I will say though, I was pleasantly surprised by its size, its not the normal Osprey sized Helion book we've all come to now and love, but its more magazine sized, which helps my ever dodgy eyes. no end!

  2. Well, my Christmas gifts to myself are still in the mail. I've ordered the book, but it will be a while before I see it.

Are you planning on playing Donnybrook at Sea or the Mad for War? Both should work with your Haitian adventure.

    1. Definitely, but they're not rules, they more of a guide to the history and gaming the period. Well worth it to be totally honest.

  20. Either you just bought yourself a pile of stuff you wanted and disguised it as a Christmas present, or you have your family very well trained! I managed a couple of birthday/Christmas presents where my wife and kids followed my "suggestions" but they have reverted to ignoring me and just buying what they want...
