Napoléon Bonaparte ruled France from 1799 to 1804 as First Consul, and from 1804 to 1814 as Emperor of the French, as well as a 3-month period in 1815, called the Hundred Days.

Sigh!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had the courage to start painting my 15mm Napoleonic army
ReplyDeleteThats the little guy from Corsica alright.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Ken
@baxxman - I painted around half the figures, while my pal Postie painted the rest, well they are his figures!!
ReplyDelete@TAL - :0)
@Robert - Go on get that brush out!
@Ken - Yep!!
Superb!
ReplyDeleteVery well done indeed - they look like well-painted 28mm figs!
ReplyDeleteWow! Luvverly paintwork, Ray (& Postie)!
ReplyDeleteVery nice work! I really like the larger staff vignette. 15mm is so great for this (especially with AB stuff). The equivalent 'scene' in 28mm would take a good portion of a game table.
ReplyDelete@Paulalba, Man Cave & Rosbif - cheers chaps!
ReplyDelete@Curt - Yep! also cost you an arm and a leg and take a damn longer time to paint! 15mm is the king!
great work...such cool detail
ReplyDeleteWow, crazy details on the figurines
ReplyDeletethats awesome! i find it funny that napoleon is always with his horse.
ReplyDeleteNice work fellas.
ReplyDeleteI really like figures. Makes me want to get some AB Naps. Must resist. Great painting mate.
ReplyDeleteVery awesome, is the face and accurate or it has nothing to do with his real face?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunatly It's a fairly generic face, but us wargaming nerds know who it is straight away!
ReplyDeleteHey Ray, these are figures of my favorite period. And they're awesome painted.
ReplyDeleteNappie rules :-D
Very nice work !!! Compliment
ReplyDeleteBest regards Carlo Antonio
Neat photos! I'll be checking back soon! alphabetalife.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteWow eleven Napoleons. I recognize him every time.
ReplyDeleteIn pic #6, neither the dragoon nor the Mameluke will tell the Emperor he left the cap on his telescope!
