Analouge Painting Challenge Winner!!!

Well that's the end of the 2nd Analouge Painting Challenge and I'm very pleased to have come out on top!!

It was a battle to the last for first place between myself and Kent, but I just pipped him to the post. I sent in an entry with minutes to go, and just passed Kent's total, to finish 1st!!!
Below are the final standings, I've put a link in for each competitor apart from Steve M, John B and Paul P, sorry guys I've searched for your blogs or web pages but just can't find them anywhere, if anyone knows a link please let me know.
As you can see below both myself and Fran managed to fulfill our aim, and finish in the top 5. But I'll have to add a quick "Up Yours Ging!!" to Fran as I doubled his points total, he he!!!
I've gotta give a big Thank You,  to Curt for running the Challenge, I enjoyed it immensely and got far more figures painted than I would have done otherwise!!!  And we'll see you at Salute and our game!!!!
And a big well done to everyone who took part as Curt said, there were a hell of a lot of figures painted!!!

  1. You won!!!!! Congratulations Ray, this is great news on hump day. So how does it feel to be at the top of the heap? You look amazingly happy in that picture and it looks like all that painting resulted in a huge weight loss as well. Good job!!!

  8. Hearty congratulations mate - that is a mammoth pile of lead you coloured there. What is even more important though I think is that your great quality didn't suffer at all either. Well done indeed!

  9. Congrats Ray. Very well done. That is one hell of a huge number of figs you painted.

  10. Congratulations ray, a well deserved first place and one over on the Lurker!

BTW I noticed your excessive use of multiple exclamation marks in your post...you do know that's a sign of an unhinged mind!!! I think you may have been overdoing it. Go have a lay down in a darkened room for a while...

  11. First one? Ouaouh, congratulations! I agree with Rosbif, you look like a robot! Take some rest, now...until next challenge!

  13. Congratulations! That was quite a challenge and you met it with room to spare. Great job on the minis and now you can have a well-deserved paint-rest to work on your rules.

  17. Congrats Ray, was rooting for a Brit win and your a sly fox.

I am rather pleased with my finish and it's fair to say I have plenty of material for blog posts for the next week or two.

Now you have the time to do a little work then?

  19. Congratulations, that is certainly some effort, more figures than I've painted in my life, or intend to. But I have airbrushed more than that, much easier.

And you have really hairy legs...

    1. Cheers Curt, It was an excellent experience, I never expected to win, I just hoped I'd finish in the top 5, but I do feel sorry for poor Kent, winning nearly all the way though only to lose in the last few seconds.

  45. Well done Raymundo! That's a very impressive output, particularly given the quality of the paint jobs you've done

  50. You Kent and Tim painted an astonishing amount of figures in 12 months! You must be pretty chuffed Dave after beating the Kiwi pro-painter AND giving Fran a hard time to boot (just 'cos ya can, right?) Now all you have to do is build an extension to the family home to house them all!

    Good onya sport!

  55. THREE MONTHS! My gob is well and truly smacked! You guys ARE machines. And my painting friend from across the Ditch IS a real pro painter - even if only part-time (hey, unless your name is 'Perry' - we all have to do the day job to pay for it all unfortunately) - so the result is even more impressive. Ray - you're just a paintin' maniac!
