Just a small entry for today.
I picked this Eureka Miniatures Revolutionary Wars Wheelwright up from Col Bill's last month. I thought It'd be a great addition to both my Donnybrook and Haitian Revolution periods.
I do enjoy painting up these various bits and bobs for my armies. They add a little personality to them, even if they rarely make it onto the table.
To make the base look a little more interesting I added some MDF wheels and planks of
wood, out of my leftovers box.
As for the points its 5 for the figure and I guess another 2 for the bench, wheels and planks??
so a total of 7 points?
The grass on the base looks great. Another seven points!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex.
DeleteVery cool, Ray! Lovely non-military, per-se, figure. Excellent details by adding the wood shavings around too.
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased how it turned out.
DeleteSuperb addition Ray. I didn't even know of this model's existence. I agree about these extra figure characters. Do you have any ideas how to build him into a game? Could he rally damage or morale off artillery or something?
ReplyDeleteLovely work!
ReplyDeleteA little gem, unusual and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat figures, even if he does look a bit like a demented gnome.
ReplyDeleteNice work! Lol he does look a bit like a gnome.
ReplyDeleteThis is really an interesting and unusual piece! This could be used as chrome for many early American wars.
ReplyDeleteThese Eureka civilian figures are really great...I have akways fancied getting the two bakers and also the vignette of the French cavalryman chatting up washer women by a water trough.....
